Vest for Life distributes used body armor equipment that has been donated to us from agencies and departments across the United States. Our Standard Vests are from various manufacturers and ballistic capability ranges from II to IIIA. We inspect each vest for age and serviceability, but can not guarantee their performance capability as detailed in our Hold Harmless Release.
Concealed Vest – Worn under the uniform shirt. Not easily visible that you are wearing body armor. Vest will be either threat level II or IIIA. Color will vary.
External Vest – Worn over the top of the uniform shirt. Easily visible that you are wearing body armor. Vest will be either threat level II or IIIA. Style will vary. May be uniform shirt type, Molle System or have equipment pouches. Color is either dark navy blue or black.
